Thomas Gabor is the principal at i-canvas.

As a proven expert in restructuring, reorganization, and insolvency prevention, he is dedicated to the creation and implementation of restructuring concepts in accordance with IDW S6, as well as going concern and continuation forecasts in accordance with IDW S11 and PS 270. He makes particular use of his strong communication skills in his interactions with stakeholders.

Previously, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), he managed the implementation of restructuring measures for various companies in crisis situations and also worked as a freelance interim manager.

After completing his degree with a focus on banking, human resources, and organization, he worked in insolvency administration for six years. His studies were the next logical step after his training as a bank clerk.

Sascha Rühmann is the Principal at i-canvas.

His many years of experience enable him to develop and implement practical concepts for digital transformation, process optimisation and the efficient reorganisation of medium-sized companies. His focus lies on the sustainable integration of technical potential into the value chain.

He gained this expertise during almost ten years of consultancy work, during which he successfully managed numerous complex digital and reorganisation projects. As a result, he has a deep understanding of the interface between business requirements and digital solutions.

Furthermore, Sascha Rühmann laid the foundation for his career with a dual degree in Business Administration, specialising in Supply Chain Controlling and Innovation Management. This combination of theory and practice shapes his pragmatic, implementation-oriented consulting approach.

Michael Schmidtmanns broad functional and industry-specific experience enables him to quickly develop and efficiently implement practical concepts for performance-based reorganization (restructuring), process optimization along the value chain, and purchasing.

He gained his diverse experience during more than 25 years of intensive consulting work, combined with implementation and interim management, including as a member of the executive board of one of the world’s top four management consultancies.

In addition, Michael Schmidtmann spent a good 10 years in industrial management, including as head of corporate development at an automotive supplier and as managing director at an engineering service provider.

Michael Schmidtmann studied mechanical engineering, specializing in industrial and production engineering, at the Technical University of Munich.

Sein interdisziplinäres Masterstudium des Wirtschaftsingenieurwesens mit Fachrichtung Maschinenbau und Spezialisierungen in den Bereichen Produktion, Logistik und Finanzwirtschaft bildet die Grundlage für eine ganzheitliche Betreuungskompetenz gegenüber den i-canvas-Kunden. Maximilian Paul unterstützt dabei sowohl bei leistungswirtschaftlichen Fragestellungen wie der Verbesserung von wertschöpfenden Prozessen als auch bei Restrukturierungsthemen wie der Erstellung von Fortbestehensprognosen und Sanierungskonzepten nach IDW-Standard.
